First Outing

For our first Moms group outing, we met at McDonalds for lunch. They have a great play land for the kids and tables so that we could sit and talk. Amy, Stephanie, Maria, and I, as well as all of our kids, got to join in on this first outing. We even got the pleasure of having Amy's husband Casey join us for lunch.

We had a great time and got in some conversation admist the craziness of ~20 kids at McDonalds playland. Noon may not have been the smartest time for me to pick an outing there. ;) Nonetheless, with only a few momentary kid meltdowns and a kid trying to escape out the emergency door and sounding the alarm -- no worries, none of our kids were to blame-- we got to begin to get to know each other and share stories and some giggles.

As you can see, I brought a camera to document our outing, but I got so into talking with and meeting everyone that I forgot to continue taking pictures. I thought I got Stephanie and her group, but my camera was acting up so my apologies. I'll get you all next time Stephanie! I want to make sure that we have some great pictures to go with our postings!

It was great getting to see those of you that could attend. I hope to see the rest of you in the future. Don't forget that friends, husbands, neighbors, etc are welcome.
